Proposed Common Specification — not an adopted industry standard.

Proposed Judgment Metrology

One judgment can be counted without collapsing its properties into one score.

Version 1.1 proposes a measurement vocabulary for externalized judgment objects. Count, information qualification, stability, lifetime, propagation and consequence remain separate properties.

1 JU

Judgment Unit — the smallest independently identifiable externalized judgment state that can be preserved, versioned, replayed, requalified, superseded or retired as one object. JU is a count, not a confidence score.

1 IU — Information Unit
The smallest independently identifiable, source-bound information object whose provenance, time/version, applicability and qualification state can be tracked separately.

QuantityMeaningUnit
JUIndependently manageable externalized judgment objectJU
IUIndependently traceable source-bound information objectIU
JIR / JRURequired Information Units per Judgment UnitIU/JU or JRU
QIRQualified required IU / required IU% or dimensionless
JSCorrect preservation plus correct transition under a declared perturbation suite% or dimensionless
IHLInformation Half-Life: time for qualified/applicable information survival to reach 0.5Time
JHLJudgment Half-Life: time for reusable/reconfirmable judgment survival to reach 0.5Time
IRImpact Reach: originating JU plus unique downstream JUs requiring impact considerationJU
RLRequalification Load: JUs that actually require a state-changing requalification operationJU
PDMaximum dependency distance reached by a qualified changeHops
CWDomain-qualified consequence multiplier relative to an explicit reference consequenceDimensionless
JW / JWUProposed composite Judgment Weight: JW = IR × CWJWU
JIOptional entropy reduction where a meaningful probability model existsbit
Two illustrative 1-JU cases

Both cases contain exactly one judgment object, yet their information demand, lifetime, propagation and consequence-weighted reach are very different.

MetricCase A: Software Library UpdateCase B: Production ReleaseInterpretation
Judgment Count1 JU1 JUBoth are one judgment object.
JIR8 JRU24 JRUCase B requires three times as many required information objects per JU.
QIR87.5%95.8%Case B has a higher share of currently qualified required information.
JS0.940.98Case B is more stable under the stated perturbation suite.
IHL30 days120 daysCase B's supporting information remains qualified/applicable longer in this illustration.
JHL21 days45 daysCase B's judgment remains reusable/reconfirmable longer without full requalification.
IR4 JU38 JUCase B has much wider dependency-mediated impact reach.
RL1 JU9 JUCase B requires more actual state-changing requalification.
PD2 hops5 hopsCase B propagates more deeply through dependencies.
CW0.58Case B carries a much larger normalized consequence multiplier.
JW2 JWU304 JWUThe same 1 JU can have radically different consequence-weighted structural reach.

Proposed research conventions, not adopted scientific or industry standards. The example values are illustrative and are not measurements from E1–E9/R1.

Cross-Product Collaboration

Judgments can move. Products can stay different.

Share
Reuse
Requalify
Audit
Grow

A judgment captured by one LimFlex-enabled product can be summoned by another, subject to qualification, applicability and access control.

Across Tools, Time and Domains

Judgment can grow through qualified differences.

Workforce Management
Accounting
Project Management
Semiconductor Design
Drug Discovery
Judicial Precedent
Public Administration
Healthcare

A judgment created in one context does not automatically become valid in another. LimFlex preserves the differences and requalifies where needed.

Security and Auditability

Shared does not mean exposed.

Encryption

Symmetric-key protection.

Integrity

SHA-family digest.

Time

UTC timestamping.

Access

Key-scoped authorization.

Traceability

Version, provenance and dependencies.

Governance

Applicability, authority and lifecycle.

Designed to support traceability and audit requirements, including requirements relevant to frameworks such as the EU AI Act. This is not a claim of legal compliance or certification.
